When Financial Federated Title & Trust assembled one of the era's largest viatical frauds — routing policies through his firm while hiding its own books — Page saw the scheme for what it was and testified for the prosecution. Its architect, Frederick Brandau, was convicted on 43 counts and sentenced to 55 years in federal prison, ordered to repay his victims in full. The FBI built the case and the SEC brought parallel charges. Page helped close it.
